This creation is inspired by the mythical architect Filippo Brunelleschi, who was one of the most important figures of the Renaissance: he was the pioneer of Renaissance architecture, both for the construction of the great dome of Florence Cathedral and because he was the first to discover the geometric rules of perspective drawing, which are very important for planning an architectural project. With his particularly surly and sanguine character, Filippo Brunelleschi, besides his great talent and being the father of the Renaissance in architecture, is also known to have been the subject of several anecdotes, strong clashes with colleagues and for being totally irreverent, just like the fragrance that represents him. Perhaps the most famous anecdote concerning Brunelleschi, however, is that of the egg recorded in the annals of the time. Indeed, in order to secure the construction of the church's dome, Brunelleschi challenged all the competing architects to balance an egg on a marble table. None of the architects present succeeded in the feat except Brunelleschi, who with extreme cunning and intelligence broke the lower part of the shell, leaving the egg standing. The other contenders criticised the incident, claiming that anyone could have done the same trick. Brunelleschi reportedly replied to his companions as follows: "Even if they saw the model and design, they would not be able to construct the dome.” His genius and idiosyncrasy towards his colleagues turned Brunelleschi into the legend we all remember and admire. Brun is the creation inspired by him, and portrays his strong and impetuous character, a mixture of genius and irreverence, just as we perceive from the first top notes that open with an explosive and irreverent bouquet emphasised by Ambergris and Clary Sage, embraced by the deafening silence of Musk and the hypnotic effluvium of Heliotrope. The powerful head rests on an equally powerful heart, where once again we find the aphrodisiac seduction of Ambergris, this time surrounded by the heady hypnotic flowers where Ylang Ylang from Thailand, Italian Magnolia and Indian Jasmine Sambac emerge, ready to bestow their sensual and irresistible seduction. The base of this imposing creation must have solid and mighty foundations entrusted to the strength of Oudh from Cambodia, contrasted with the elegant sweetness of Sandalwood from Australia and Patchouli from Singapore, softened by the notes of Vanilla Flowers from Madagascar emphasised by the vigour of Musk. Brun is the irreverent and impetuous fragrance dedicated to all those who know they have an exceptional and unique character, without ever fearing the judgement of others, because they are well aware of their inner worth.
