The creation is inspired by the poet and eclectic artist Basinio Basini, who stands out against the backdrop of the noble patronage that in the first half of the 15th century was assuming increasingly precise connotations. In the court of Gradara, under the command of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, a lover and admirer of the new culture, he generously commissioned many artists, naturally demanding unconditional support for power in return, exalting their deeds. We can define this new art as the first form of social influence and marketing, a sort of ancient way of communication that serves as a forerunner to the modern media, which is why we can safely consider Basino to be the first extraordinary Influencer, a very refined and shrewd precursor to today's social world and metaverse. Sigismondo Pandolfo Malastesta invited Basinio Basini to his court to compose poems and songs to enhance the echoes of the splendour that the Lord of Gradara Castle had conceived and accomplished. Basinius was a prolific scholar, but above all he loved to explore all that was new and mysterious, able to go beyond known boundaries and venture into the realm of wonder. Gifted with extraordinary sensitivity and imagination, he was able to move fluidly between pleasures and beauty, whether these were aesthetic or carnal. He was a trailblazer of his times and, with his profound irony, he was prepared to display a graceful and shrewd irreverence, the same joy we find expressed in this fuchsia pink bottle which contains a modern and irreverent fragrance, just like the Artist who inspired it. The creation opens with the sparkling effervescence of Italy's most precious citrus fruits, where we can clearly discern the strength of Reggio Calabria Bergamot, the intensity of Sicilian Bitter Orange and the power of Sorrento Lemon, all embraced by the seductive fragrance of the exciting Bulgarian Rose. This persuasive head note rests seductively on a bed of spices and aphrodisiac flowers, where the power of Brazilian Pink Pepper and Egyptian Cumin can be sensed, wrapped in the erotically inspiring veil of Philippine Yang-Ylang and Canary Island White Lotus, and enveloped in the hypnotising freshness of Lake Garda Lavender. The base note of the creation is founded on solid pillars of sweet woods, dominated by Australian Sandalwood and Birch from the Italian region of Romagna, which emphasise the strength of this fragrance, as seductive as the artist who inspired it, embraced by the mysterious blend of Omani Myrrh, Oakmoss and Musk. B.B. encapsulates all the irreverent irony of seduction for those who really love to play outside the box, in keeping with the fluid spirit of our deepest and most hidden passions.
