ānti
Antinoüs
DETAILS
On October 30, 129, Antinoüs sacrificed himself in the Nile to bring luck to his lover, the Emperor Hadrian. ānti pays tribute to this mythological ephebe through a botanical bouquet structured by the sweet tang of Mediterranean citrus, the calmness of sage and the sensuality of sea-salted skin.
Clary and officinalis Sage drift like prayers written on papyrus, as white pepper and cumin kindle fires on moonlit shores. Wheat absolute, vetiver, and sandalwood build altars of golden grain—love letters carved in temple stone.
